Undergraduate Physics Symposium
Integrating research with teaching has been one of the key features in the newly emerged education policies all over the world. Thus, having a strong research component within the undergraduate curriculum is getting a nationwide attention. Presidency University, as one of the institutions leading the effort, is happy to organise on its Bicentennial year, the first Undergraduate Symposium on Pure and Applied Physics. We welcome Bachelors and Masters students from all over the country to participate and showcase their own research work in the momentous occasion and play leading roles in pioneering UG research in India.

All students taking B.Sc/M.Sc/Integrated B.Sc-M.Sc/B.Tech courses are welcome to present their work.If you wish to participate, please register yourself here.
After completing the registration formalities, please mail us your abstract to [email protected] by 30th March, 2017. There is no word limit, but please keep it concise.
AS OF 2ND APRIL, 2017 ABSTRACT SUBMISSION WILL BE CLOSED.
12 abstracts will be selected for the paper presentation on 9th April. Out-station participants those who are selected, will be given accommodation facilities here.
In case of multiple authors for an abstract, only one can apply for the paper presentation event on the 9th of April. However certificates of participation can be given to the co-authors, provided that a request is made beforehand.
Conditions:
By submitting an abstract for the consideration of the Scientific Organizing Committee, an applicant certifies the following:
1. The work mentioned in the abstract is his/her original one, the applicant made significant contributions to the mentioned work and the abstract accurately reflects the work done by the applicant.
2. No part of the abstract is plagiarized from elsewhere and the abstract does not contain any copyrighted material without proper permission of the concerned authority.
3. The applicant represents and acknowledges the work of all of his/her co-workers and guides, has the consent of the latter in applying for this conference and acknowledges all the funding sources.
4. The applicant agrees to accept the decision of the SOC regarding the submitted work.
